I’m Ashley Baldwin.  Welcome to my website, which serves as a platform for my career endeavors.

Since a young age, I have been extremely driven to understand my environment and the people around me.  As a result, I have spent a lot of my time learning, traveling, creating, volunteering, and overall establishing a very unique educational and experiential background.

Most recently, I have completed a B.A. degree in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of Central Florida in order to better integrate knowledge and expand my view of the world.  While my major focuses on art and humanities, I have also chosen to pursue three additional minors in the areas of Art Studio, Marketing, and Leadership.

Formally studying art has led me to refine my creative thinking abilities, see details more accurately, and develop my artistic skills.  The humanities have broadened my understanding of the human condition, increased my empathy for others, and advanced my analytical thinking abilities.  By studying marketing, I’ve learned useful skills and tactics for getting my ideas out in the world, ranging from social media practice to consumer behavior theories. Lastly, by studying leadership, I have been able to learn what I can do to lead others towards creating positive social change in a time when it is most crucial.

Throughout college, I have also completed eight unique internships and externships.  This has allowed me to explore many different career paths, while enabling me to help out in my community.  I’ve learned about what it takes to run schools, galleries, and art shows.  I’ve also learned about marketing, research, business, and consumer behavior.

At this point in my life, I’m looking for a job that encompasses my love of helping others and extends into as many areas of personal passions as possible.  I am interested in working in the fields of marketing, education, and art.  I am determined, passionate, hard working, ambitious, creative, and curious.    Additionally, I have spent the last year serving as vice president and marketing chair of the Interdisciplinary Studies Student Association at the University of Central Florida.

Throughout my academic and professional development, I have accomplished high honors and constantly pushed myself to be the best artist, marketer, student, and communicator as possible.  Ultimately I’d like to change the world for the better, and it is my belief that learning different subjects and perspectives will greatly aid in my attempt to do so.
