Dragonfly Dreams - Original Acrylic Painting

$1,750.00

Embrace the transformative power of change with "Dragonfly Dreams," an original acrylic painting by Ashley Baldwin. This one-of-a-kind landscape painting features the iconic Hine's Emerald Dragonflies, symbolizing adaptability, self-realization, and mental and emotional maturity.

But "Dragonfly Dreams" is more than just a beautiful piece of art - it's a journey of transformation in its own right. Originally a vibrant, psychedelic abstract painting, this piece has undergone a series of changes, from being inspired by Monet's water lily ponds in Paris to the addition of the Hine's Emerald Dragonflies, an endangered species threatened by habitat loss.

For Ashley, creating this painting was a personal journey of transformation. It was only after going through major life changes, pushing herself out of her comfort zone, and completing a transformative wellness retreat in Ibiza that she was pulled to paint this piece. After painting it, she researched the symbolism behind the dragonflies and discovered their connection to transformation.

Measuring 24 x 36 x 0.75 inches and painted on traditional cotton archival quality canvas, this landscape is stapled around professional kiln-dried beveled wood stretchers and protected with a high-quality varnish. The sides are also painted, so it can be displayed unframed. This piece is signed on the front and back and was started in Ashley's Orlando, Florida studio and completed in her Munich, Germany studio.

This piece is sure to be a conversation starter and add some excitement to any living, working, or exhibition space. It's also a great gift for Monet, dragonfly, or nature lovers. And with free worldwide shipping available on all orders of original art, you can bring the magic of transformation into your home no matter where you are.
