As I remember it, the ground was painted with tulips, 7 million of them to be exact! Tulips of all colors were thoughtfully arranged in beautiful patterns for as far as the eye could see. Butterflies fluttered about, the sun was warm, the air was crisp and clean, and there wasn’t a single frown in the crowd. It’s hard to describe what it feels like when hundreds of people are literally stopping to not just smell the flowers, but really see them and enjoy them.

Titled "Keukenhof' Tulip Fields," this landscape painting measures 40 cm in diameter with a 2 cm edge and is rendered on traditional cotton archival quality canvas and professionally stretched on kiln-dried beveled wood stretchers. The sides are also painted, allowing for unframed display. To add a unique touch, Ashley has also used POSCA paint pens in this piece. To ensure its longevity, the artwork is protected with a high-quality varnish.
